The First Asian Conference on Pattern Recognition (ACPR'11) will be held on November 28‐30, 2011, Beijing, China. The conference aims at providing one major international forum for researchers in pattern recognition and related fields to share their new ideas and achievements. Submissions from other than the Asia‐Pacific regions are also highly encouraged. The Proceedings of ACPR will be published by the IEEE, and the electronic version will appear in the IEEE Xplore, which is indexed by popular databases such as the EI and ISTP.
